El Carmen de Víboral is a town located in the east region of Antioquia. Its average temperature is 18 degree Celsius.  It has 56 rural districts and its total extension is 448 kilometers squared. The town has a total population of 45.578 people as of 2013 census. The urban zone has approximately 23.600 inhabitants and the rural area has an estimated population of 19.978. Its surrounding area includes 7 municipalities: El Santuario, Marinilla, Rionegro, La Ceja, La Union, Cocorna and Sonsón. People love to go to this town because it is very beautiful.  In this town, there are several tourist attractions and festivities that make this place to be distinguished particularly for its culture.
